Hello Tim,
I just want to say something : I think you have started the wrong way with all this learning. Let me explain : when I started studying computer programming, i didn't touch a computer for 2 or 3 lessons, all i needed was a sheet of paper because i had to learn how to program first, not a language( like java ). So, based on my experience I think you should first learn what are the basic building blocks of a program ( if/else, for loops, while, etc ) , how to use them to acomplish a task, then start to learn a language. This way, you could learn a programming language in a few months, because all u will need will be : what is the sintax for loop and for while, etc. Hope it helps and good luck. Bye, Edward. Don't take life serious 'cause you'll never get out of it alive. ---------- Original Message ----------- From: "Tim Nicholson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "JDJList" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Fri, 27 Sep 2002 00:22:47 +1000 Subject: [jdjlist] in response to your email > I will say it again :- > > You are not helping me with anything that is going to be graded so I > should correct you on that.
