Ernest, I followed the instructions, even tried an invokation with "-clean", but still don't have it working. I unziped the files in the toplevel directory (and verified that gov.sandia*/ show up under plugins). The icon doesn't show up under Help->About Eclipse Platform, and the plugins aren't listed under "Feature details" nor "Plug-in Details". That said, "Configuration Details" lists gov.sandia.jess* as [Installed]. Many other plugins are listed either as [Resolve] or [Starting], so there may be something to it that the plugin is installed properly but not configured to get started. Going to Help->Software Updates->Manage Configuration: lists JessDE 7.0.0, and a status reveals "The feature is configured properly". Also, it only lists "Disable" under Available Tasks, so I guess this means that eclipse thinks that the plugin is enabled. I tried clicking on "Disable" with the hope that I could enable it again and that this process would fix things. Doing this produces the following error: "The current configuration contains errors and this operation can have unpredictable results. Do you want to continue?". I hit cancel trying to track down the errors. Help->About Eclipse Platform -> Configuration Details -> View Error log revealed that my project expected to load other plugin (such as findbugs). While installing the findbugs plugin, eclipse complained that it could not proceed because of configuration errors: "JessDE (7.0.0) requires plug-in org.eclipse.pde.ui" Any clues what this means ?
