Craig, you seem to be the #2 guy- do you not have access to commit
code changes? Do you have any other methods to reach Javier other than
whatever info can be found on Google?

Forks frequently can be a good thing (see Xorg). I'd say that route
should be explored if Javier doesn't want to give access for some
additional people to commit code, but it's probably a good idea to at
least give him a chance to weigh in.
