As long as we're chiming in, I've been having intermittent connection problems ever since setting up my new machine, with either IE 10 or Chrome. The thing just loses connection, and may give me some jive about a network error, which is pretty strange, seeing I'm on a standalone PC with a phone line. It happens on e-mail, and even worse on The Net. I have pretty well cleared JAWS of all possible responsibility though.

My conclusion from the Google results is that the items in the folder affect how long it takes for Windows to boot up and frequently used programs to launch.
