Subject: Re: Simple Web-Based Driving Directions, Please Ah, I figured out how to get to the Help option so I could switch back to Classic Google Maps. The problem is, since the directions told me to click on the Help button, I was looking for the word Help. Stupid me. At least in Firefox, what I really wanted was the first (not the second) "unlabeled 0 button." Of course, because "help" and "unlabeled 0 button" are interchangeable. If you activate the unlabeled 0 button, the first one not the second one, you should land in the help screen. With a little bit of trial and error you can switch to classic Google Maps, and if you hold your mouth right, you might even trip over the option to remember this choice for next time. Wouldn't that be spiffy? Since I've switched to Classic Maps, I can't test whether this link will work for you, but give this a try. If it does, it's a whole lot easier than the method I described above: https://maps.google.com/maps?dg=optperm&output=classic Good luck!
