Hi there to all,

Thanks for the many responses I got on this subject.

I wrote a couple of replies but now have the answer so will include all here.

My problem was in my understanding of the setting. I thought that Word
Wrap remained set in whatever position it had been left; thus, I thought
the check mark was not being read by JAWS.

I now understand from John, and have verified the situation, that its
default setting is "off".

Thanks, Carlos, for the offer of the scripts. These are probably not
really needed now since its no real big deal to type two key strokes
instead of one, though I wouldn't mind a look if you'd like to send them
privately.

Thanks to all for clearing this annoying matter.
