well compaque has a custom built to order computer that has as an option a
matrox 200 g video card.
be aware that this system has only one i s a slot and it is already taken by a
sound card.
for 15 dollars one can opt for a ensonic sound card that is p c i based.
do so to make the i s a slot open, it is normally taken by the compaque
business audio card.
or opt to replace it your self with a high end sound card.
the cost is 1800 dollars for a 350 mhz system, with 17 inch monitor.
one can custom order extras like dvd and extra memory.
the line is called pro signia
and i think it is 2300 for a 450 mhz system.

minus 10 dollars for the matrox 200 g with 8 meg.
or add 15 dollars for a 200 g with 16 meg.
the only thing here is this is not a recommendation, only provideing info.
i have not studyed everything about this system, just read it had a matrox
video card in a magazine.
this system is great if you have external synth or a u s b scanner.
other wise the fact it has only one i s a slot may be a downer.
plus they do not sell this system with a scsi card already installed.
it is a mini tower.
one other thing, 2 cards that are both jfw approved do not always read equally.
my matrox always read better than my a t i mach 64.
so get a matrox 100 g if you have no sighted person useing the system, if you
do get the 200 g.
both are a g p.
