all well and good. it seems as though you already have the script and
since I didn't get in on the beginning of this thread yet, I am
unclear as to what is going on but will make a couple of
observations. if an instruction does not work, halt the process and
seek guidance. Make sure your task bar settings are set appropriately
for this to work. this is accomplished by pressing start key or
ctrl+esc, pressing s for settings, t for task bar, when you hear task
bar options taskbar always ontop make sure it is checked. if it is
not, press the space bar. press tab and be sure that auto hide is
not checked. tab to and press the space bar on apply. tab to ok or
press enter to close the dialog and try ins+f11 again.
As for the start menu problem, if you use the find command and type:
accessories
you should be able to find it. examine the path to it to see that for
the next time you need it it is typed correctly.
for instance, it is hard to tell with speech but there is a space
between start and menu. the path should then read:
c:\windows\start space menu\programs\accessories
without of course the word space and the extra space so the correct
string then is:
c:\windows\start menu\programs\accessories.
if this still does not find it, be sure you are typing in lower case
by turning off the caps lock key. if it still doesn't work then it is
indeed strange and should be corrected.
