I am back again with the same old problem I have had since I loaded jfw
3.029 and IE 3.x on my computer. It, the same old problem, just won't go
away, and I need your help to figure out how to deal with it.
I have upgraded to jfw 3.2031 and Internet Explorer 4.01, I think. When I
go to the program files of Internet Explorer I do not find a version number
listed for Internet Explorer.
If it has another name, please let me know. When I use the run dialog
option in the start menu, I type in IE4.01 and IE 4.01 or MSIE 4.01 and
msie4.01 and it says it cannot find the file. Does that mean I do not have
Internet Explorer version 4.01 on my computer?
The same old problem is this.
While reading long messages more than a screen length, the say all function
of jaws does not work. When I get to the bottom of the screen, it stops,
causing me to press the down arrow, then the up arrow, then the down arrow,
then the up arrow, then the down arrow... or go to the end of the message
using control+end and arrow up to where I was when I got stuck in the first
place. I solved this problem by copying all long messages to the clipboard
and pasting them into a MS Word document. I can still do that.
This was the main problem I wanted to solve by upgrading to jfw 3.2031. I
have not tried surfing the web yet, which is supposed to be greatly improved
in jfw 3.2. I am looking forward to getting on with it, surfing the web
and reading long messages without hang-ups.
