Hello, Harry. To find out what version of Internet Explorer you are
running, there are two ways you can find out what you have.
If you've installed the shortcut on your desktop, or if you're not
sure, do the following. Press insert-f6 and if you hear desktop, press the
letter I until you hear Internet Explorer. Another way to find the desktop
is to press the Windows key next to the alt key and the letter M at the same
time. Again, you should hear desktop spoken.
If you don't have internet explorer on your desktop, try going to
start/programs, and then keep typing the letter M until you Hear Microsoft
Internet Explorer, or if that fails, from programs keep pressing the letter
I and see if you hear Internet Explorer.
However you find it, press enter on Internet Explorer. After it opens,
press alt-H for Help, then press A for about. Here it should tell you what
version of Internet Explorer you are using.
I use Outlook Express for my e-mail. I was able to read your message
using the insert-num pad 2, though a couple of times a few lines were read
twice. However, it did work properly.
