When you're in the list of components that windows could install on
your system, partially checked means that only part of a particular
folder is installed. For example, in a standard windows install, the
accessories folder is partially checked. This is because the games
folder, which is part of the accessories folder, is not installed by
default. If you install the games folder the box will be fully checked
(jaws will say "check box checked" instead of "partially checked.)" If
you uninstall accessories, the box will be unchecked.
