I am using Access 32 speech with JFW 3.20.31 on a Toshiba 4015CDT notebook.
I believe the sound card is a Yamaha sound card. I will often find in
applications such as MS Word and Outlook 98 which provide feedback with WAV
sounds that I will get the following error message:
Kernel 32 has caused a General Protection Fault in module OPL3SA.DRV. Does
anyone else using a similar system ever experience this problem. It happens
quite frequently and although I can usually hit the close button and
continue working, I generally find that about 5 minutes later I have a major
crash. I have the appropriate box regarding WAB files and software synths
checked in the JFW settings. The problem generally occurs when I am typing
quite quickly and the synth seems to get left behind. My typing echo is set
to words.
