Hello,
This should be of interest to all with similar configurations as in the
message below. Opl chipsets on yamaha sound cards have varying degrees of
response especially when subjected to software synths, such as access32,
particularly with .wav files active. What I mean by this is, they will
become unstable, causing occational to frequent crashes, and stuttering
through sound cards. My only suggestion is to get the lates sound card
drivers from your computer provider's web sight, not yamaha, and the
reason I say this, is because certain vendors will make a specific
modification to the chipset on the card to accomadate there systems. I
hope this partially clarifies things.
