Hello Dotty and Listers.
Dotty, although my experience is a little under-fed in this area, there
appear to be only a handful of sound cards that genuinely allow for
multiple, simultaneous wave files. It would appear that yours is not one
of them. Among several cards known to work well are the Turtle Beach
Montego and the Sound Blaster live value. Neither are expensive, are both
PCI cards, a real advantage, and perform well. You may also benefit from
more memory, given the fact that you are running Access32, a soft
synthesizer.
Hope this helps.
