Hi Scott. Have you installed Microsoft Speech or something like that? I
think it loads its drivers whether you use it or not. In any case, try
this...
First go to the start menu and up-arrow to "shutdown". Select that and then
select "Shut down to MS-DOS mode".Next, switch to the "windows\speech\"
directory and be sure to rename your speech.dll file to something else like
oldspeech.dll. This is just in case you run into problems later.
Finally just copy the speech.dll from the "\jfw32\" directory and then
restart your system.
You shouldn't get a sharing violation when shut-down in MS-DOS mode.
