I just looked at my two Speech.dll files and noticed something interesting.
The JFW version of the file is just one hour older than the version in my
Windows\Speech directory. Is that all the age difference we are discussing?
I understand that it can be enough of an age difference, but I wasn't prepared
for it to be that small. I did make the change, and it seems to have made a
difference in all apps but Corel Word Perfect 8.
I still do not think I will like Eloquence much better, but if it responds a
little faster this way, I just might be a little happier when I have to use it
with a client who has no choice in the matter.
Thank you for the tip. I looked all over the place for an answer to this
problem with no success. Where did you get this information?
