First of all, I think you are doing a great disservice to your clients
by telling them that ICQ is inaccessible by the blind, not to mention
the fact that it is an outright lie. Are you honestly so vain that
you think that if you cannot use a program that it is inaccessible by
all blind people?
The reason that the CTRL-SHIFT-C hotkey remains in effect even after
removing it from the script is because it is not merely a script
function, it is an ICQ function and will operate as long as ICQ is
running. You can change the hotkey for this function in the ICQ
preferences and I've already pointed out to the developers of the ICQ
scripts that they might want to reconsider implementing scripts for
the predefined ICQ hotkeys for just this reason. For example,
CTRL-SHIFT-R conflicts with the Reply to All hotkey in outlook
Express. Some of us Outlook Express/ICQ users might want to change
the Reminders hotkey in the ICQ preferences.
There are many of us (blind) ICQ users who are willing to help you
with the program if you're interested. It is your choice.
