Hi listers,
I just installed an old DOS version of JAWS that
i copied off my DOS machine.
What I have tried to do on this new (W98) machine, seems to be OK except that it is
very sluggish.
For example: when I try to route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor,
it is very slow to respond or when I hit the return, it takes more than a couple of
seconds
for the "c>" prompt to be returned.
I've got he "switch=/c" flag set in the config.sys file.
I think the DOS version that lI am useing is JAWS 321. The JFW version is 3.2.31.
The PC I am trying to move some of my DOS routines to is a 350 Mhz Micron.
Does anyone have any ideas?
incidentially, I've tryed starting DOS from the the MSDOS prompt in the startup menus
as well as restarting
DOS from the shutdown menu.
I'd appreciate an insight in to this that anyone may have to offer.
Thanks,
Howard Davis
