Hi Simon and all. I don't know about the com port problem, but as far as
the getting eloquence to work, I had the same problem with my Moms
computer. She has a Sound Blaster Pro, which is only an eight bit card.
It works fine on mine, which is a DX66 and my sound card is a Sound
Blaster Vibra16. The only problem is that it is very slugish on my
machine.
