Just a thought...what if you go into the JFW Dictionary and tell it that
when it sees an accent, output a space character, or the entire word
"accent". Would that keep the accent mark from being sent to the DecTalk?
Perhaps the next JFW release can have a "ignore=" option in the advanced
options. We had to do the same with ASAW to keep the Dec from thinking text
within a screen were commands to silent the Dec. Perhaps if you send a note
to WishList to the HJ staff for a future release.
Doesn't the Dec thing the left bracket is the beginning of the command
string?
In the meantime, I'd try the JFW dictionary trick and see what happens.
