I'd have to agree here...it isn't a JFW-specific problem, but rather the Dec
reacting to some characters in text strings as imbedded control commands for
the Dec. One thing that can help is an Ignore command that will have the
Dec ignore certain characters while processing text--this doesn't keep the
Dec from announcing these characters, jut not see it as a command string.
Even with that, with ASAW, we still had that synthesizer grab one
occasionally.
If you are able to put extended characters within the JAW dictionary, then
this may process it before the Dec gets it's little grubby crumb snatchers
on it.
I'll see if I can find the relevant tech note on that ignore process.
