that version of ScanDisk is in Dos Mode. it happens before anything
including Windows loads. there fore Jaws is not even running yet. what I
recomend doing is disabling it. on every PC that it is disabled on, the
user is thankful. if you are interested, write me andask for
instructions. also, what version of windows are you running Windows 95 or
98.
by the way, that is a very good question.
