Hi Tony,
I must first warn you, I have not tried this so can't promise
it will work, and i would certainly recommend doing an install as
a much cleaner approach, however :
You can edit your jfw.ini file and change the [brailledisplays]
section so it looks like the example below.
[BrailleDisplays]
Braille1Name=pb40
Braille1LongName=PowerBraille 40
Braille1Port=com2:9600,n,8,1
Braille1Driver=Powerbrl
Of course, change com2 to com1 on the brailleport line if your display is on
com1, not com2.
Be sure to copy jfw.ini before you start in case this doesn't work and you
should go into config manager and set your braille options on the
default.jcf
file when you start jaws with the braille display.
I'd still recommend re-installing jaws, it would be much more likely
to achieve the result simply than playing around with the jfw.ini file
and, not having proved this myself, I would not recommend this approach
to inexperienced computer users.
Best of luck, Mark

Subject: JFW & the PB40
Hi Folks: Can someone explain to me how to go about adding the PB40 Braille
display to JFW 3.2 without having to re-install? Thanks in advance.
