Perhaps you could give us an example of a word's being displayed in computer
Braille (not Grade 1) when Grade 2 could have been used. There are lots of
things that might account for this.
The 3.3 public beta (3.30.13) contained some signs spelled out which .22 and
.25 show as signs. If you haven't upgraded to 3.30.25, do so. It's even
better than the beta.
The word the cursor is on is not translated to grade 2. This can be toggled
by using the BrailleGrade2ExpandCurrentWord script. There is not always a
keystroke defined for this, depending on your Braille display, but you can
define one using Keyboard Manager.
I believe some contractions have been removed, such as the "by" contraction.
Spaces are now mandated where they could have been removed before, such as
in "for the".
This is not to say that Grade 2 translation is perfect. It isn't. I wish it
didn't use the "be" contraction in the word Beta, for example.
