The best way to install a new Braille display is to install JFW to a temp
directory. Then compare jfw.ini in that installation with the one you're
using now, making appropriate changes. Also, compare the files in the root
directories of the temp and permanent JFWs. When your regular JFW works
properly you can delete the temp install. Don't worry about cautions
regarding the Windows registry. I've done a good bit of messing around with
JFW versions and I've never encountered any problems caused by this
approach.
