Problem: Eloquence not talking.
On my wifes computer, we had jfw3.2. Eloquence and dectalk pc worked
fine. We installed openbook 4 (Ruby), which worked with Eloquence (via
voice) and Dectalk pc. When we upgraded to jfw3.3 and the new patch,
installation stopped speaking when Dr jaws ran. After installation Dectalk
would speak but eloquence would not.
JFW tech support had not heard of this problem. They had me delete
the windows /temp files and the files in windows/speech, to no avail.
What finally worked was to delete jfw 3.2 and ruby, then reinstall
jfw3.3 and ruby.
If installation stop talking when dr jaws starts, eloquence is not working.
