More progress in the search for the problem.

It seems that there is a direct correlation between the number of disk
cache hits and the number of page faults.  n fact, they are almost
identical.  I can watch the displays match up, even when no major
applications are running.

My guess is that this is where the problem is, although I'm not entirely
sure.  The question is:  where is the problem coming from?  I've checked my
CMOS and BIOS settings and they all seem fine.  Clearly, I need to do
something about all that disk caching, but where should I be looking for that?

And as an aside, I've tried 3 times to deownload Netscape 4.6 and the
crashing problem has killed the process in mid-file all 3 times.  Guess
I'll have to wait to get the new version.

Hopefully, this will help someone tell me what I'm missing.
