Good morning Listers.

        I wonder to what extent the unexpected halting might be due to what is
controlling punctuation, Jaws or the synthesizer.  Obviously, if one has
chosen the synthesizer, not a good thing to do, I think, then read by
sentence will be disrupted for the synthesizer at times.  Also, I rather
suspect that the performance of JFW in say all by sentence mode will be
related to the speed of the CPU, slower machines taking longer to respond
to processing of longer strings.  Only speculations.  I'm awaiting my 3.3
to move from assumption to assertion.
