My point is that *if* you know that it's the Office Assistant that's
causing your problems and *if* you then know how to deal with it, you're
miles ahead of the game. Imagine, however, the blind user who's new to
Windows and who suddenly encounters this freak the first time they use MS
Word. They aren't going to know anything at all about the Office
Assistant and they certainly aren't going to know how to get rid of it.
Also, using the options isn't foolproof. Been there, tried that, and got
the frown lines on my forehead to prove it. <g>
