Hello Raymond and Listers.
I, too, had difficulty in getting JFW3.3 to list the icons in the system
tray as well as getting the items in the task bar to read out. I did not
have trouble at all when using the default scripts that originally came
with 3.3, this I discovered some frustrating hours later. I have,
literally, hundredsof scripts and functions, or so it seems, that I have
written these past two years and integrated, most painfully I might add,
into each new major upgrade. So the case was this time. Everything, much
to my gratification, worked from the start, all my old shortcuts and
functions back, and 3.3 to boot, everything, that is, except insert f11 and
insert f10. Now, while you may not have the integration problem that some
of us script writers do, you may, if you have included some of your own
material in the default.jss and default.jkm files. After hours of
painstaking combing through these files, I found a couple of conflicts and
old functions that, while they produced no error during compiling, did not
allow the two system and task tray features to work. They now do.
All this long diatribe, first, to lament that there is not an easy way to
integrate, and second, to suggest that you carefully check any personal
additions or modifications you have made in the original files to see if
they might explain the problem. At present, no matter what program I am
running, these two features work perfectly.
