I'm not sure of this absolutely, but I believe that the NFB has some
money available for low interest loans. Otherwise, your best bet for a
loan is probably a credit union if you belong to one. If the interest rate
can be lowered by putting up collateral, perhaps your pc could serve for
that. Interest rates are as low right now as they are likely to get, so if
you're contemplating a loan, probably you should do it if you're
financially able to take it on. I had to borrow money for my pc and did it
under a home equity arrangement, but I realize that that is not always
possible. The advantage of this method is that, at least in the US., the
interest rate becomes a tax deduction.
