lpt tops good for jfw

Hello all,

I am trying to get information for a friend who wants to get a lap top to
use at an upcoming internship in Florida.

Can anyone tell me some things I might have her look at, she is looking to
have basic word processing and a modem.  Her current system includes jfw3.2
but she will be upgrading soon I think.
