Derek, I'm sorry to say that you're not giving good advice here.  You
couldn't have had some of the experiences with JFW and laptops that some of
us have.  For instance, today, we tried to load JFW 3.3 on a Compaq and ran
into video issues.  Others on this List have had the same problems with
various laptops.
John, my advice to you is to talk with H.J. and also look at their tech
support page and get all the information you can so you don't steer your
friend in the wrong direction.
Derek, the thing with JFW is that video issues play a very important part in
whether the program works properly or not.  That's unfortunate, but that's
life.

Any computer should work.  Just make sure that it has a lot of ram, the more
ram the more freely the computer may work even with JFW loaded.
