Judy's Eudora still says sent and cued. Don't know why mine doesn't.
Also, I can't seem to launch websites from Eudora. I have to copy the
address to the clipboard and then paste it in to "open location". Am
calling Eudora tomorrow if I feel better. I have the flu, but I think my
fever has broken.
I do not understand why I can read the NY Times on the web, but I can't
read other acrobat files. Maybe NY Times no longer requires Acrobat
reader, but it used to. Adobe was no help, and I used their 900 number.
The rep told me to download reader 4.0. In looking for that, I found that
they have created special software for the blind. It translates PDF files
into HTML. Apparently, there are programs on the web which can do that.
Web Ferret is $26.00. They have a power pack, but I can't figure out what
all is in it. Can't remember its price.
Well, I have run into your scsi card and scanner problem. I am now waiting
for the tech to come to the St. Louis Society to remove the card. I could
do it, but he has done all the other stuff; I would rather not mess with
his stuff. I don't know just what part the network plays in it. Install
did not put the necessary lines in the config.sys files, unless it put them
into the network config file. I doubt that it could have accessed it though.
I lost my mail today. I finally found it. I was trying to filter mail and
created a mailbox without a name. I can't figure out how to delete a
mailbox, and I cannot read Eudora's manual until I can handle pdf files.
Criscross tutorial on filters was not too good. I don't like her
Windowseyes tutorial either. Usually, I like her stuff, but I think that
she was in a hurry with it.
