I have been trying to get ruby to operate using the jfw num pad keystrokes.
I have been told to install ruby using the no synthesizer option, but that
just stops speech on my DoubleTalk Lt.
There is a keys.ini file in Ruby which supposedly allows one to reconfigure
the key strokes. I have attempted to make changes in that file with only
scant results.
If anyone has had success in getting Ruby to operate as a somewhat normal
windows application with JFW key strokes, please tell me how you did it.
btw: When I reinstalled using the No synthesizer option the keys.ini was
set for custom = jaws. It didn't matter whether custom keys were set to on
or off. the results were the same.
