Thanks for the advice and I have changed the duplex to full.
Still missing documentation somewhere. If I have to do something unusual
to the B.L.'s speechbox mode that's o.k. but whatever it is it isn't
something I can find. The JFW documentation is good at describing
navigation functions but all I get at present with the B.L. is ablank
display. I don't know how I can confirm that JFW has the b.l. 2000
installed, even though I accepted the option to install it.
Curious because with another screen reader serial settings are fine and
this other screen reader doesn't support braille displays. In other words
- with exactly the same serial settings my b.l. acts quite appropriately as
a synthesiser.
