I think we in India are fortunate to have such lovely seasonal and other festivals like Lohrhi Holi, Diwali, dussehera , Raksha bandhan, Bhaiya dooj etc.
We dont have to create festivals like Fathers day, mothers day etc. like USA .They dont have culture and have to invent these things. FESTIVALS BRING JOY AND GIVE US A SENSE OF BELONGING. Most people in my family put up Xmas Trees. ITS FUN. WHY SHOULD WE SPREAD HATRED ? Dear MR. RAJESHI THINK WE WOMEN WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED LIKE NORMAL CREATURES OF FLESH AND BLOOD....AND NOT like DEVIES<Godesses> or IDOLS. A fallen idol is just thrown away. Dont put us on a pedestal please.Every religion or its prophet is a product of its times . What was needed then may not be needed now. Buddhism as explained by Buddha , infact he didnt start any ism... asked his followers to get their own answers> was very scietific.Buddha was a great soul and So was prophet MOHAMMAD or JESUS. WHY MALIGN THEM?
