I strictly oppose your Ideas. First act of many other religion is RIDICULING their cultures and festivals with scientific facts. Then force them to abolish their cultures and then automatically they lose their religion. Gimmicks like pollution, child labour are West-driving ourselves to another culture.
Why dont the world stop slaughtering Animals?? Why do the Eid celebrated with lot of cow-slaughtering, can you ask the world to stop killing animals??. Even in Gandhi jayanti, this year the Indian govt gives a permission to slaughter cows, because of religious reasons. I pity your consciousness that one day celebration is responsible for ozone hole. Say no to all forms of Hinduism..? In the same way that a fish symbolizes the highest belief of the Christian faith, or the crescent moon represents Islam, the cow is simply representative of the life-affirming teachings of Dharma. Cows represent the sacredness of motherhood and the abundance of God's creation. As a sacred symbol, followers of Sanatana Dharma respect cows and try to protect them from harm; we don't worship cows any more than Christians worship fish, or Muslims worship the moon!. Can you ask them to stop eating animals????. While government is funding HUJJ, why not the government gives subsidy for Diwali??. Instead you are telling BIG NO.
