According to the specs, the receiver should be quite a bit louder (or at least, maximum volume should be louder). I'm still waiting for my receiver. It was sent to my old address in KC, and I have since moved. Luckily (well, depending on how you look at it), my girlfriend still lives in KC, so she will pick it up for me.
