I agree ... on the trunk ... not on the official releases.

All software has bugs.

The trunk is for fixing bugs and adding features.

Fixing bugs in the official releases takes time and introduces its own set
of risks. I don't think that we should be fixing bugs in the official
releases unless there is some reason that they can't take a prerelease
from the trunk.
