I was at a family pool part and was talking to my nephew and his girlfriend
(the ones who won the trip to the Grammy's last year.) I told them how excited
I was to have tickets to Tori and Rufus. Rick's girlfriend said she had seen
Rufus open for Lisa Loeb on Vegas 3 years ago and she thought both he and his
piano were off tune and she hated him. I think he brings that kind of reaction.
I saw him in a small club 3 years ago and was mesmerized by his breadth of
musical knowledge. Loved the NPR interview. Especially he and his sister
harmonizing beautifully on Dream.
