Shane, Yes, I did overstate my opinion on the plains painters. I based it solely by looking at the website Kakki provided, of the Group of Seven. It isn't fair to say that all plains painters' work is like theirs- I have no idea- but still feel that what I saw of their work online was rather simplistic and sweet in style.
