hi everyone. i just wanted to say that i have been thoroughly enjoying all the posts about bonnie raitt! i don't really know her work, other than the "nick of time" songs that were all over the radio, so now because of these posts i am going to go find some of her older records.
learning about an artist new to me -- heartfelt personal stories about encounters -- specific, lovely writing -- song recommendations -- love for music... all reasons why i tune in to the JMDL! thanks. -- emily of brooklyn, now in the "second" city :)
