Diving further into DJRD territories...... First off I have to say one of the best feelings of the album has to be when Jaco's base spills into the intro of Cotton Avenue...It always makes me smile, a spotting-an-old-friend-thru-a-large-crowd type of smile. Then I was wondering if anyone else might also see how possible a song like "Talk 2 Me" might rub you in an Ani Defranco kind of way. I was wondering if she was influenced by this album at all. I don't know much Ani, but what I have heard I definitely liked. How can she not be moved by joni?? I love how the tracks literally flow together, VERY dream-like, as Bob warned me when I was asking for people's humlble opinions of this album.
