Here in the UK a law has been passed which will allow unmarried str8 couples and gay couples to adopt. It has already been leagal for single str8's and single gays to adopt. Of course there has been loads of the usual oppsition to gay people being able to adopt. the opposers would rather see children be unloved in an institution which is the situation we see with black children who far outnumber black people who want(or can) to adopt them. The powers that be think it is far better for these black children to live in an institution than for them to be adopted by white people.
it really is time that adults stopped putting themsleves and their ideology/prejudices first and put the child first.
