I read an interesting article about why we think certain people are "pretty/handsome" 
and why we think certain people are "ugly". A big part of it has to do with symmetry, 
they actually used Lyle as an example of someone with almost total asymmetry in their 
face.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Hurley was held up as a pinnacle of symmetry and further they did 
the "geometry" of her face and the ratios between the distances between her eyes, from 
her nose to her mouth, etc. were all in near-perfect proportion.
