Help Me is a fantastic song! I remember being thrilled every time it came on the radio, which was often, at least once an hour, and as soon as I heard the guitar intro I always had to stop whatever I was doing and listen to the whole song. Anyone with me had to listen, too, or at least not talk to me until the song was over. I think of it as Joni's theme song, the thrill of romance, love, sex, the hopefulness at the beginning, the worry about loss of independence. And even with all the worry and all the smoke and ash history, she's going to do it again, can't stop herself. I find that very inspiring. What a wonderful song! Debra Shea
