I know some of you are upset about the use of "River" on the Christmas
message-or whatever-on TV by the Army? I look at it this way, those kids who
will be killed and on the front lines will be kids from trailer parks,
children of single mothers, black, and hispanic. They wouldn't be rich kids
like George Bush was during the Vietnam war. When those young guys came home
from Vietnam we treated them like shit. So should we do the same now? They
are all so young and have no sense of their mortality. When I think how many
of them might die for oil why not wish them a Merry Christmas? Maureen
