There is a natural, unstrained quality that is rarely heard these days. I would even go so far as to say that Norah has found her own voice, whereas Joni (obviously a superior songwriter) was still to an extent mimicking contemporary female singers on her first l.p. I'm curious, walt. If you don't know Norah's name, may I assume you have not listened to the album? And of not, upon what are you basing your comparison? "The Eminem Show" was hands down the best pop album of the year. Eminem is brilliant. Again...have you listened to the album? The grammies do suck, but Norah Jones and Emimem don't.
