Things are moving right along with plans for Jonifest 2003! Some updates for you:
RAFFLE: Unfortunately, our Mistress of Raffles for the past 2 years, Sharon Buffington, is not able to attend this year. However, that incredible sidekick of mine, Maggie and her wonderful husband, Alex have stepped up to the plate to organize this year's raffle. We've already received some wonderful goodies for this. Be looking in your mailbox for lots more info from them! ACCOMMODATIONS: Rooms are starting to fill up, so if you'd like a bed this year, I'd advise you to get your deposit in right away to secure one. The beds are on a first-come-first served basis. Once they are gone, they are gone. Don't be left out!!!!! Please remember to fill out an online form (one for each person going) as I cannot record the deposit without it. Even if you signed up last year, you need to reregister for this. FORMS: Please remember to send in your signed and dated hard-copy release form. I need a separate form for each person attending. SCHOLARSHIPS: Please remember to apply early if you are in need of a scholarship this year. At the moment, the scholarship fund is very low, so there are no guarantees for how much assistance will be available. If you are able to donate to this fund to help your fellow listers get to Jonifest, whether you are actually attending or not, it is much needed this year. Any donation, no matter how large or small, is greatly appreciated. DONATIONS FOR JONIMITCHELL.COM: As usual, there is an "admission fee" which consists of a donation towards helping sustain JoniMitchell.com and JMDL.com. Each year, the donations are alternated between the two websites. This year, your donation benefits the JoniMitchell.com website. Please be as generous as you can.
